SWIMMING ALBUM COVER

These album covers were a part of a much larger research project I completed comparing two famous designers. For both I chose to re-design one of my favorite albums: Swimming by Mac Miller. The cover on the right is meant to be inspired by Alex Steinweiss who invented album cover art and is known for simple and flat iconography. The cover to the left is inspired by a modern-day designer: Robert Beatty who draws from a combination of countercultures that give his work a psychedelic vibe.
